The History

Clover Valley was held by numerous "owners" in the mid-1800s. Eventually, the land was purchased by J. Parker Whitney, whose historical importance in the area is widely known.

In addition to its considerable ecological resources, Clover Valley now has at least 33 prehistoric sites, one of which dates back potentially 7,000 years. The Valley aided in the growth of agriculture in South Placer County.

The Clover Valley community was founded in 1963 and has grown steadily since then.
